Our Story
I’m Jodi, the founder of Kawaii Goodness. As a 90s kid, I remember spending much of my time watching anime and listening to Japanese pop music. I have fond memories of watching Inuyasha reruns on Toonami. I also remember tuning into Hamtaro, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network. These childhood experiences left me infatuated with the genre. Since then, I’ve gone on to watch dozens of other animes, and I even attended anime conventions.
This passion bloomed into this store I’ve created: Kawaii Goodness. People feel good when they wear things that represent their personality. It’s as if they’re making a public statement or searching for other fans by wearing fandom items. I remember an Overwatch player approaching me because of my D.VA jacket in a grocery store. I was elated.
I want to replicate those feelings for you. I want you to feel seen and feel proud of what you wear. We all deserve at least that during these hard times. This is why Kawaii Goodness is committed to creating high-quality merchandise that we would wear ourselves.
